Wow

This sink is wayyy cool! It would really be a headturner if anyone had it in their house. Wow. However from the practical point of view, I think keeping it clean would be quite a chore over time. Hmm. Still, it looks amazing!

oops i did it again

OKAY. I know I have a horrible unstoppable habit of flooding my blog with posts of shoes. But honestly, I am a total shoe freak. I love looking at shoes! And this pair caught my eye, even though they cost $61 which is pretty expensive for a poor student like myself :(

But the wedge, the suede, the lace-ups, the height. Ahhh I want :(

Apologies for the lack of posts! Have been very caught up with schoolwork and such :( But anyway, I'm not really sure if anyone even reads this, so well I may be apologising to nobody in particular. Haha. But fear not, while I have not been posting here, I've found some really cool quirky things, so you can expect a few more blogposts coming up :)

Got this off The Sartorialist, who's blog I follow everyday faithfully. I initially didn't notice this picture that much until I saw the number of pins this lady used. And I realized that, hey, I've never seen anyone do this before! Love how she used bronze pins to fit the colour of her hair. Plus the matching rose clips really makes the whole thing look so pretty :)

Lace and floaty fabrics seemed to be rather prominent. But I didn't quite like the usage of see-through fabrics in some pieces :\

Science

This is the path of a particle as it moves in a synchrotron, which is a particle accelerator machine. Science is always wonderful in such ways, though the theory of synchrotrons and the like are always so complex and difficult to understand, it can still produce beautiful things like this :)

The Cutest Monster

Isn't this just the cutest thing you've seen in awhile? :) (Although I personally think it must be really hot in the costume, but..well.) Love how the suit fits him so well! I found this picture off a random tumblr site online, so I have no idea who is this, but the credit is all yours. Plus in addition to UP!, Monsters Inc. is seriously one of my favourite pixar films as well! Gosh! Makes me just wanna go up and hug him. (Though he's supposed to be a monster and all..) :D

Alexander Wang Resort 2010

I first discovered Alexander Wang's clothing line in a fashion shop I found a part-time job at. I was always rather fascinated by the simplicity of his clothing, but yet how mind-blowingly-gorgeous his designs were. Since then, I haven't been able to stop myself from checking out his collections, and Resort 2010 is really my favourite so far.

Above are the looks which impressed me the most, of the many. The beige coat reminded me of Burberry's trenchcoat which Emma Watson wore for the ad campaign (see 2 entries ago), but nonetheless still looks great! I especially LOVE the black draped dress and the blue double-breasted jacket as well!

Two Things

I went to the Burberry store this week. Actually, I was attracted there by Emma Watson's wonderful shots for the Burberry ad campaign this season, which I'd been catching glances of for several weeks while walking past the store. This week, however, I finally took the chance and went in. I thought Emma Watson's pictures were extremely well-taken (hey, its Burberry) and its really fabulous how she has blossomed since starting out on Harry Potter!

This picture above is my absolute favourite from the whole series in the ad campaign. (Oh, I would really love that trenchcoat too, haha)

And my latest ogling wonders on shoelust.tumblr. (see previous post) Love the lace-ups, and how both colours looks equally appealing!
